Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone triage to determine urgency and appropriate care level
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to prioritize emergency cases
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide clear patient education on home care and follow-up procedures
- Coordinate patient flow between emergency department and specialty services
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona
- Minimum 3 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Spanish bilingualism preferred
