Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and decentralized systems
- Lead R&D initiatives in next-gen human-computer interfaces and immersive technologies
- Partner with product teams to integrate emerging tech into scalable commercial solutions
- Establish strategic alliances with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present futuristic technology vision to stakeholders and investors
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation strategies
- Build and lead a specialized team of futurists and technologists
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech leadership with 5+ years in emerging technology strategy
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products (2020-2025)
- Expertise in at least three of: AI ethics, quantum algorithms, Web3 protocols, AR/VR development
- MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Published thought leadership in technology journals (e.g., Nature Futures, IEEE Spectrum)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Global network connections in venture capital and tech innovation circles
