Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, climate tech, biotech) to forecast industry disruptions through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite executives using quantitative and qualitative methodologies
- Lead strategic foresight workshops with Fortune 500 partners to identify innovation opportunities
- Author forward-looking white papers and trend reports published in top industry journals
- Build and manage a network of futurists, technologists, and academic thought leaders
- Translate foresight insights into product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies
- Advose on long-term R&D investments and emerging technology adoption curves
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies with Fortune 500 exposure
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into business strategy with measurable ROI
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and Delphi methodology
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published author in futurism or innovation thought leadership platforms
- Experience advising executive teams on 10+ year strategic horizons
