Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, economics, and social domains to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Develop and present strategic scenarios and innovation roadmaps to executive leadership and board members
- Champion design thinking methodologies to prototype future-facing solutions and customer experiences
- Establish and nurture an internal innovation ecosystem through workshops, hackathons, and cross-functional collaboration
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies and product development priorities
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and innovation hubs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Business Administration, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies that drove measurable business impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in innovation or foresight publications (e.g., Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, cross-impact analysis) and innovation frameworks
