Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming to ensure client hygiene and comfort.
- Monitor client health status and report any changes or medical issues to the nursing supervisor immediately.
- Assist with medication reminders and ensure compliance with prescribed treatment plans.
- Plan and prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals tailored to specific dietary needs.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, and therapy sessions as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized living environment for all clients.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce isolation and improve mental well-being.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients (up to 50 lbs) with proper body mechanics.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
