Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgeries and restorative treatments
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Manage patient records and digital charting using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal inventory management
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
- Coordinate with insurance providers and handle billing documentation
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA license required
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control procedures
- Expertise in digital imaging and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Exceptional communication skills and chairside manner
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
