Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical cases
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging with precision
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization of instruments
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans
- Oversee inventory and ordering of dental supplies
- Coordinate chairside assistance for multi-specialty procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records in digital management systems
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent certification
- 3+ years of clinical experience in general or specialty dentistry
- Expertise in radiography and infection control protocols
- Strong knowledge of dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft preferred)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Exceptional patient communication and chairside manner
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume practice
