Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chairside during examinations and complex procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and medications.
- Take and develop dental X-rays and digital images as directed by the dentist.
- Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
- Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans.
- Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program (or equivalent experience).
- Certification (CDA) or RDA license preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a dental office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
