Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Oversee sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal instrument inventory
- Delieve patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate digital patient records and documentation
- Coordinate seamless communication between patients and clinical staff
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent certification required
- Minimum 2 years of chairside experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance protocols
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with digital impression systems (iTero, etc.) preferred
