Responsibilities
- Perform chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implants and restorative dentistry
- Manage digital radiography (X-ray) and intraoral imaging with advanced imaging software
- Sterilize and maintain all dental equipment in compliance with OSHA and CDC protocols
- Assist in patient education and post-operative care instructions
- Manage patient records using advanced dental practice management software
- Oversee inventory control and ordering of dental supplies
- Coordinate with dental labs for prosthodontic cases
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in general or cosmetic dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) and imaging software
- CPR/BLS certification and current HIPAA training
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and instruments
- Exceptional communication skills and patient rapport
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-doctor practice
