Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and document health status changes
- Perform light housekeeping duties (laundry, cleaning, meal prep)
- Administer prescribed medications under supervision
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Maintain detailed care records and communicate with care team
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
Qualifications
- Current California HHA certification or CNA license
- Minimum 2 years professional home health experience
- Valid driver's license with clean record and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Compassionate demeanor with experience in elderly/disabled care
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
