Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes in condition or concerns to the nursing supervisor.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with mobility exercises as directed.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients to improve their mental well-being.
- Document daily care activities and progress in patient records accurately.
- Transport patients to medical appointments and grocery shopping when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Candidate must be willing to complete state-required Home Health Aide training and certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and assist patients up to 50 lbs safely.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
