Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and verify prescription medications with zero-error tolerance
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory, ordering, and controlled substance compliance
- Administer immunizations and perform patient health screenings
- Utilize advanced pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell) for dispensing and record-keeping
- Mentor new technicians and maintain sterile compounding protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active PTCB or ExCPT certification with 2+ years experience
- Proven expertise in sterile compounding and IV admixture preparation
- Advanced knowledge of HIPAA compliance and pharmaceutical regulations
- Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and electronic health records
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-medication-error track record
- Strong customer service skills with ability to handle high-volume prescriptions
