Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and maintaining sterility
- Handle surgical equipment and supplies with precision and efficiency
- Monitor inventory and restock critical supplies between cases
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and safety standards
- Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing teams for seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience
- Experience in orthopedic, neuro, or cardiovascular surgery preferred
- BLS certification and surgical gowning expertise
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional teamwork skills
