Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations within the unit.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Adhere to all hospital safety protocols, infection control measures, and regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting (ICU, Med-Surg, Telemetry preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Specialty certifications (e.g., CCRN, CEN) are a plus but not mandatory for all roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to travel and adapt to different healthcare facility cultures.
