Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care in ICU/ER settings with precision and compassion
- Adapt quickly to new hospital protocols and electronic health systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with NY state regulations
- Provide mentorship to permanent staff during your assignment
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond effectively to emergency situations using ACLS/BLS protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New York state or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU/ER experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
