Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse healthcare settings including Level 1 trauma centers and specialty hospitals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Accurately document electronic medical records while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Provide clinical leadership during emergency situations and critical care scenarios
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain strict adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards
- Precept and mentor new staff during orientation periods
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Missouri or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Telemetry or ICU experience preferred
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Successful completion of hospital-specific competency assessments
