Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in Mesa-area hospitals (ICU, ER, Med-Surg, Telemetry)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures per protocols
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR systems
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, state, and facility regulations
- Provide education to patients/families on disease management and discharge planning
- Maintain sterile techniques and infection control standards
- Participate in rapid response and code blue emergencies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing (AZ compact license preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in specialty unit
- BLS, ACLS, and relevant specialty certifications (e.g., TNCC, ENPC)
- Graduation from accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EPIC, Cerner)
- Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Negative TB screening and current immunizations
