Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments to determine medical urgency and prioritize care
- Collaborate with physicians to develop appropriate treatment plans for ER patients
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and triage documentation
- Provide critical patient education and discharge instructions
- Lead emergency response protocols during high-volume periods
- Mentor junior nursing staff on best triage practices
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- 3+ years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN or higher degree preferred
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR systems
