Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity via telephone and virtual triage protocols
- Collaborate with physicians to prioritize urgent cases and allocate resources
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with meticulous documentation
- Provide clinical guidance to patients and support staff during high-pressure situations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives for emergency protocols
- Train incoming staff on triage procedures and departmental standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California with minimum 3 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proven expertise in rapid assessment and critical decision-making
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Experience with Epic EMR systems preferred
- BSN or higher degree strongly preferred
