Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming with dignity and respect.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in meaningful conversations to reduce feelings of loneliness.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications on time and report any changes in condition to supervisors.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to specific dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, and errands as required.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid certification is required.
- License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are necessary for this position.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a warm, professional demeanor.
- Empathy: A genuine, compassionate attitude with a patient and respectful approach to care.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
