Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed.
- Mobility Support: Help patients walk, transfer, or use walkers and wheelchairs safely.
- Household Assistance: Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry.
- Medication Reminders: Prompt clients to take prescribed medications on schedule.
- Companionship: Engage in conversation and activities to reduce isolation and improve mental well-being.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs and care plans.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Compassion: Genuine empathy and patience for working with the elderly or disabled.
