Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure patient safety.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks.
- Monitor and report changes in patient health and behavior to the nursing staff.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with light medical tasks as directed.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to improve patient well-being.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
- Current NJ State Nurse Aide License (if applicable).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
