Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status through history taking, physical exams, and diagnostic testing.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on clinical judgment and patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to any changes or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota (or willing to obtain).
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience (preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to different healthcare settings and shift schedules.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
