Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain safe living environments
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to supervising nurses
- Assist with prescribed medication administration under guidance
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Document care activities and client progress accurately
- Transport clients to medical appointments when required
Qualifications
- Michigan HHA certification or CNA license required
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Minimum 1 year home health or hospice experience
- Valid Michigan driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Compassionate demeanor with cultural sensitivity
