Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, food and fluid intake, and general mood or behavior changes.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation as directed by the care plan.
- Administer prescribed medication and treatments according to strict physician orders.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and run errands as needed.
- Communicate any changes in a client's condition to the on-call nursing supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for clients.
Qualifications
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor towards all clients.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
