Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to clinical staff
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and ensure safe home environment
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Maintain accurate care documentation and follow care plans
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance patient well-being
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional home health aide experience required
- Current Texas HHA certification or CNA license
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable vehicle
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Clear criminal background check and TB test
- Strong communication skills and compassion for vulnerable populations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
