Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs
- Monitor vital signs and document client observations
- Administer medications as prescribed and maintain medication logs
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain safe living environments
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement care plans
Qualifications
- Washington State HHA certification or CNA license
- Minimum 1 year professional home care experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Washington driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Clear background check and TB test
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Compassionate demeanor with cultural sensitivity
