Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and monitor dietary needs
- Administer prescribed medications and track vital signs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Light housekeeping tasks (laundry, tidying, meal prep)
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Maintain accurate care documentation
- Communicate effectively with care coordinators and family members
Qualifications
- Massachusetts HHA certification or CNA license required
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Passionate about senior care with patience and empathy
- Clear criminal background check and TB test
