Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation using proper techniques
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and maintain client environment
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Document care activities and client observations accurately
- Communicate effectively with families and healthcare team members
Qualifications
- Current Washington State HCA certification or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Washington driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to perform lifting and transfer tasks
