Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and monitor dietary needs
- Administer prescribed medications and vital sign monitoring
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Maintain detailed care records and report changes in patient condition
- Follow established care plans and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Florida HHA certification or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
