Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and monitor dietary needs
- Administer prescribed medications and track vital signs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Maintain detailed care notes and report client status changes
- Implement personalized care plans under clinical supervision
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current Michigan CNA certification or HHA certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Clear criminal background check and TB test
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Compassionate demeanor with strong communication skills
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
