Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration) and report changes to the nursing team.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
  • Provide light housekeeping and laundry services to maintain a clean, safe environment.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation and improve mental well-being.
  • Administer medication reminders as directed by the supervising nurse.
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with mobility transfers.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certification is preferred but not mandatory for experienced candidates.
  • Current valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Must be able to lift and move patients (up to 50 lbs) safely.
  • Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude.
