Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications on time and monitor for side effects.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious and appetizing meals according to specific dietary restrictions.
- Companionship: Provide social interaction and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the client.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, or community outings.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate daily logs of care provided and client conditions.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a CNA, HHA, or Caregiver is preferred but not mandatory.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Health: Must pass a criminal background check and a drug screen.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical: Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients (up to 50lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Personality: Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a positive attitude.
