Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility issues such as walking, transferring, and using wheelchairs.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Monitor client health status and report any changes to the supervisor.
- Administer medication as directed by a licensed nurse.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to ensure a safe environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation.
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or PCA (Patient Care Assistant) certification is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented.
