Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Maintain detailed care records and report changes in client condition
- Assist with light housekeeping and errands
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Qualifications
- Current North Carolina CNA certification or Home Health Aide certification
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to assist with transfers and mobility
- Compassionate demeanor and patience working with elderly/ill clients
