Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Help with mobility and transferring patients to and from bed or wheelchair.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and families.
- Monitor and report changes in a client's physical or mental condition to the supervisor.
- Administer medications as directed by a licensed nurse (if applicable to certification).
Qualifications:
- Current, valid New Mexico CNA or HHA license (or willingness to obtain one through our sponsor program).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid New Mexico Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
