Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough initial and ongoing assessments of patient health to determine appropriate nursing interventions.
- Care Implementation: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and follow evidence-based nursing practices.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, medical charts, and clinical notes in compliance with facility policies.
- Communication: Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist in stabilizing patient conditions.
- Infection Control: Adhere to strict hygiene and safety protocols to prevent healthcare-associated infections.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing patient needs and schedules.
