As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by providing personalized care and companionship in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on specific dietary requirements.
- Monitor clients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse immediately.
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and vacuuming, to maintain a safe environment.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or social activities as needed.
- Administer medication reminders and ensure proper documentation of care logs.
Qualifications
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Current Colorado state licensure and a clean background check.
- Valid CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license.
