Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and maintain safe living environments
- Transport clients to appointments and errands using reliable personal vehicle
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to clinical supervisors
- Administer medication reminders and assist with prescribed treatments
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance client wellbeing
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year home health or caregiver experience preferred
- Current Ohio HHA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid Ohio driver's license and insured personal vehicle
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and empathy for vulnerable populations
- Physical ability to assist with transfers and mobility support
- Reliable transportation and punctuality essential
