Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping to ensure a safe living environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Monitor and report changes in a client's physical or mental condition to the Registered Nurse or case manager.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with medication reminders as directed.
- Perform light exercise or mobility assistance to improve the client's quality of life.
Qualifications
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client transport (if applicable).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in geriatric care or home health is preferred.
