Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Hygiene Support: Help with mobility and transfers to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Health Monitoring: Record and report vital signs, changes in mood, and health status to the nursing team.
- Household Help: Prepare nutritious meals, assist with light housekeeping, and run errands.
- Transportation: Provide safe transportation to medical appointments and community outings.
- Companionship: Offer emotional support and engage in conversation to alleviate loneliness.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CNA or HHA Certification preferred (or willing to obtain).
- Licensure: Valid State Licensure (if applicable).
- Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physical Ability: Physical stamina to lift and assist patients as needed.
