As a Home Health Aide, you will provide vital assistance to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor client health status and report any changes to the nursing staff immediately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with mobility as needed.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to ensure the client feels valued.
Qualifications
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or state license required.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to perform lifting and moving assistance.
