Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Provide personal care support including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor Patient Health: Track vital signs and report any changes in condition to the nursing supervisor or case manager.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals according to specific dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Medication Management: Assist with medication reminders and administer prescribed treatments as directed.
- Companionship: Offer emotional support and engage patients in conversation and activities to promote mental well-being.
- Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties related to patient care, such as changing linens and doing laundry.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Valid License: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required for client visits.
- CPR/BLS: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient and professional demeanor.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Experience: Previous experience in home health or geriatric care is preferred but not mandatory.
