Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect.
- Monitor and accurately report changes in client health status, mood, or behavior to the nursing supervisor.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and errands as assigned.
- Provide meaningful companionship by engaging clients in conversation, reading, and recreational activities.
- Document daily care records and medication reminders with precision and timeliness.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities using a reliable vehicle.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Current Nebraska Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
