Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
- Monitor patient health status and report changes to the nursing staff.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to dietary restrictions.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Perform light housekeeping duties and laundry as assigned.
- Accompany patients to medical appointments and errands.
- Document daily care activities and patient progress accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona State Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certification.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to lift and assist patients weighing up to 250 lbs.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
