Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Light housekeeping tasks to maintain safe living environments
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Document care activities and client progress accurately
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Respond promptly to client emergencies and report changes in condition
Qualifications
- Minnesota Home Health Aide certification (HHA) required
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Minnesota driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Compassionate attitude and patience working with elderly/disabled
