Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene as needed.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications at the scheduled times.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the client.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage clients in conversation and recreational activities.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments or errands as required.
- Documentation: Accurately record daily activities and changes in patient condition in care logs.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Certification: Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Experience: Prior experience in home care or healthcare settings is preferred but not mandatory.
- Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
