Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to clinical staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain safe living environments
- Transport clients to appointments and errands
- Administer prescribed medications under supervision
- Maintain detailed care documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of home health aide or caregiving experience
- Valid New Mexico HHA certification or CNA license
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Compassionate attitude and patience with elderly clients
