Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
- Administer medication reminders and document care plans accurately.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation to medical appointments.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; CNA or HHA certification is preferred.
- Current state certification or license (if applicable) and background check clearance.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Experience in home health care is a plus but not mandatory.
